Before I created my own music video, I looked at the lyrics specifically to see what is the best fit for each line. I did this by having a look at a specific word in the sentence like 'heights' or 'love'. This then gave me an idea to base a scene within the music video on that theme whether it be an emotional or physical feature..


I then found that within a main chorus maybe the video can change from a sad scene, which will be black and white to then a more happy and joyful scene which will be vibrant and full of colours as the theme 'light' is being reflected within the Coldplay lyrics.


The lyrics also gave me the idea that the video should be filmed with sort of different camera angles for various scenes like medium shots to show actions and movement from a distance as well as extreme close ups of an eye when 'tear' is mentioned so it gives out emotional responses to others watching.
