Album Covers

The two examples I have used here is Rolling Stones with their approach of the tongue always sticking out which you know straight away is associated with the band. This helps the recognition of the group as well as there brand becoming worldwide with a simple logo. The tongue logo was designed by John Pasche in 1970. He said: I wanted something anti-authority, but I suppose the mouth idea came from when I met Mick Jagger for the first time at the stones.

Another example is Pink Floyd and their triangle with a spectrum of lighting beaming out the side and again is easily recognisable to everybody. The beam itself represents a person being born with the prism acting as their life, whereas the colours represent everything they've been through whether it being difficult or joyous.
